A Film About Promoting STEM Skills in Swansea

8th December 2018

iCreate has delivered a 4 minute film about a new Science and Technology outreach project by Swansea University.  More than a just a flythrough, it’s an example of how we help clients articulate their message, incorporating live footage, graphics and audio to tell the story effectively.

Oriel Science needed a film to explain their project and announce their plans to create a permanent science and technology centre in Swansea City Centre.  Without specifying the exact location of the new centre, the 3D flythrough was required to bring to life their vision for the space.  But to tell the story fully, it was important to bring the voices of kids, teachers and experts into the film – the 3D visualisation piece was just one element of a larger visual communication project.

We assisted with scripting and storyboarding the film, agreeing the narrative structure and the key messages.  We then directed a professional camera operator and voiceover artist, as well as sourcing stock video footage and library content, pulling everything together into a compelling film that makes the pitch for sponsorship to help make this project a success.

So, bear in mind that at iCreate we’re more than just a 3D flythrough company.  Our primary goal is to help you achieve yours – providing the right visual communications to turn vision into reality.  As creative producers working across multimedia disciplines, we’ll take an idea from conception to delivery – a one-stop shop for your next presentation requirement.
