Working with the four local authorities in the region, iCreate has produced a set of eight artists impressions depicting the future vision for transport in South West Wales, to support regional funding bids.  The vision represents a significant investment in public transport infrastructure, including rail and tram lines as well as new stations and platforms, to create a connected transport system serving population centres across South West Wales.

Created using a mixed approach that incorporated 3D modelling and AI-assisted post-production, this set of aspirational CGIs was delivered within a short 4 week turnaround time based on varied information that was available for each of the eight proposed schemes.  The imagery has been commissioned to illustrate a new Vision document, and will also be used for public consultation by Transport for Wales and the Local Authorities.  The CGIs have already been picked up by local and regional press in their coverage of the proposals.  

As the regional Corporate Joint Committee continues to make the case to Welsh Government and Westminster about the need for this investment in public transport, these 3D visualisations play an important supporting role in bringing the vision to life and nurturing both public and institutional support.
